Every woman has an inner goddess, whether we realize it or not. Are you having trouble finding her? Finding your inner goddess can be challenging. It’s easy to get caught up with what society expects from women and life’s demands, but finding your inner goddess is definitely a journey worth taking! In this post, I will share with you 10 simple ways to find your inner goddess. Finding your inner goddess will automatically make you feel happier, radiant, healthier, and sexier! You will also naturally glow from the outside and within. 

What is Your Inner Goddess?

Your inner goddess is your divine feminine energy. She’s a part of your soul that always wants the best for you! She’s the part of you who truly remembers who you were before the world got its hands on you. Finding your inner goddess is all about understanding and acknowledging that her divinity exists. When you’re in a negative place and you’re buried under other people’s opinions, she shuts off. When we are born, we are born whole and complete. You might frequently hear the phrase “finding yourself”, but finding yourself is really all about returning to yourself and to your inner goddess.

Who is She?

  • The part of you who’s at peace with what you’ve been through and at peace with where you’re headed. 
  • Loves the thought of new possibilities and it’s not afraid to give birth to her ideas and dreams. 
  • She’s free and wild and really doesn’t care about other people’s opinions. 
  • Lives by her own definition of happiness. 
  • Knows what she wants and has the courage to follow through. 
  • Has consciously created her ideal life.

If you’re ready to unleash your inner goddess, here are my TOP 10 simple ways to find her:

1. Practice Solitude

Solitude is crucial when it comes down to your health and well-being. When you’re by yourself you get a deeper understanding of who you are and your needs and wants. You might feel that being by yourself makes you feel lonely, but there’s nothing more powerful than enjoying your own company! Actually, most people can still feel lonely even in a crowded room. Practicing solitude also unleashes the creativity and productivity of your inner goddess. Women are by nature “creators”, so creating something whether it’s (painting, drawing, music, etc.) can help you feel renewed and radiant. Most importantly solitude is the perfect opportunity to reflect on your goals, dreams, and aspirations. Sometimes we get soaked in what our family or partner wants from us that we forget to think of ourselves as an individual.

2. Feel Your Beauty

Let’s face it! We women can often feel insecure, whether it’s because of our size, shape, height, etc. We find a billion things that are not perfect with us and we frequently compare ourselves to other women. But do you think that Aphrodite ever compared herself to Athena or vice versa? Nope. They each embraced their divine power and owned their beauty. For this tip, I challenge and encourage you to feel your beauty! Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself out loud the things you love about yourself. It doesn’t have to be just physical beauty, it can also be internal beauty. Remind yourself that nobody is perfect. Feeling your beauty will bring you confidence, which will reveal your inner goddess!

3. Trust the Universe & Let Go

Your inner goddess will be unleashed, once you let go and trust the universe! Trust that everything happens for a reason. Even if something bad happens to you it’s a way that the universe is teaching you a lesson and pushing you to develop your own character. Trust and let go of what doesn’t serve you. Whatever or whoever is meant to be there will be there. Learn to accept that the universe has a plan and purpose. Once you learn to accept that, it is time to accept the help of your inner goddess to guide you.

4. Empower Other Women

We live in a world where women often discourage other women. Women already have it hard enough and we should be lifting each other up, instead of bringing each other down! As Nicole Markardt once said, “embracing our inner goddess allows for the expansion of the collective female experience.” Women discouraging each other stems from the fact that we sometimes think that other women will dim our light, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth! The universe is abundant and there’s enough space for all our lights! Just take a look at the sky, is one star dimming the others? Nope! Each star shines on it’s own and we need to empower other women to find their light.

5. Release the Negative

Goddesses are all about treating themselves with positivity, love, and respect! As I mentioned before, when you’re in a negative space your inner goddess will immediately shut off and immediately disappear. Holding in negativity will drag you down and prevent you from living life to the fullest. It’s essential to release the negative to find your inner goddess and reach your inner peace. Ask yourself where that negativity comes from, are you being negative about your current job, relationship, career, etc.? If so, try to change the things that are making you unhappy, yes it really is that simple! Remember that you’re in charge of your own happiness. 6. Connect with Mother Nature

Mother Nature is the ultimate divine energy, by spending more time with her you will instantly connect with your inner goddess. Just sitting outside will reduce your blood pressure and help you feel immediately peaceful and calm. Release all your thoughts and worries into nature and you will see how she will care for you and heal you. A great idea is to walk barefoot in the grass and close your eyes to ultimately feel connected with the earth beneath your feet. This activity is called Earthing and it’s my personal favorite! Having physical contact with the surface of the Earth will make you feel fully renewed and it will restore your balance fast! Connecting with Mother Nature on a daily basis will help you become a strong healthy woman and the true goddess you are!

7. Learn to Control Your Energy

Part of finding your inner goddess is learning how to control your own energy. Us humans get our energy from the food that we eat, the water that we drink, the air that we breathe, and the sunlight we receive. After obtaining energy from all those things, we now have the power of choosing where we put that energy into. Think about animals, they’re super mindful of their energies! If the prey they’re chasing is taking too long to get caught they give up. But they don’t give up as a sign of failure, they gave up because they realized putting more energy into the chase is not worth it! Just like animals, we have to be mindful of where we are putting our energy. If it’s not worth it, don’t chase it! Once you put your energy into the right things you will find your inner goddess!

8. Know Your Boundaries

Your inner goddess isn’t a people pleaser, she knows what she wants for herself and goes after it! Don’t look for your inner goddess in the eyes of other people, because I guarantee you won’t find her. To find your inner goddess, you have to know your boundaries and learn when and how to say “no” to people. Learning how to say “no” not only helps you set boundaries, but it also helps you with confidence and sets balance in your life.

9. Trust Your Instinct

That voice and gut feeling you get when you know something inside yourself… is your inner goddess herself! To learn to listen to her you have to trust that instinct. Don’t question it! Your purest intuitions are never wrong, so you have to follow them and let your inner goddess take over and guide you. 

10. Create a Balanced Life

The last way to find your inner goddess is to ultimately create a balanced life. In a world full of constant demands, it’s easy to lose your balance. But remind yourself, that everything you do in life should be towards enhancing your own nature. The universe is all about balance, the yin, and the yang. Just like the universe, your life should be balanced as well. Make sure that even if you work full-time that you’re also getting an equal amount of rest and doing things you truly enjoy. Having a balanced life will lead you to a happy and peaceful life and will unleash the true goddess in you!
